[net.graphics] 3-D Reconstruction & Rotation Software

I am looking for software to reconstruct a 3-dimensional structure
from a series of 2-dimensional slices. It should then be possible
to rotate the 3-D object for various views of it. Input could be
sets of X-Y pairs giving the contours of the object in each plane,
i.e., the program would not have to find the contours by analyzing
the 2-D image (although that would be nice!).

I am using a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner to get tomographic
images of the human orbit (the eyeball, muscles, etc), and want
to reconstruct the orbital geometry from the series of slices.

There seem to be a few such systems that run on the IBM PC.
