I would like some information on colour graphics terminals (ie best-buys) and would like terminals which have plenty of software (I don't want some wonderful piece of technology that has no useful software!). What is the most popular colour graphics terminal in the following groups: a) 1024 x 780(ish) 16 colour, simple to drive, possibly with digitiser support b) Similar resolution 256 colour (or more) with palette, possibly digitiser support. c) Even higher-resolution similar spec. (eg 1536 x 1152) d) Tek. 4107 (640 x 480 I think) 64 colour I'm interested in popular terminals in the hope that there is some software. The kind of stuff I'd like to run would be simple "vector graphics" of shapes as a preview to animations, on the 16 colour terminals, and the deeper (more colour) terminals would be for coloured, rendered images. Price #2000-20000 (UK pounds). Any ideas/info would be gratefully received.
