Does anyone have any information on color scanner/digitizers?

Eikonix, Bedford, MA makes a couple of different scanning type devices which with some simple modification could be adapted for many different types of applications. The data returned from the one that I've used is grey-levels which range from 0 to 255 (8 bits) obtained from a 114ppi CCD array. Through the use of filters (3) and some intelligent software, you could perform a 4 color separation on the image being scanned. Good luck :-) Marc Evans, WB1GRH Interactive Systems Corp.
