[net.graphics] ST Digital Image request

demillo@uwmacc.UUCP (Rob DeMillo) (05/02/86)

I believe that one of these requests has come up before, but I
am unable to find it in my archives...so please be patient with me:

I am looking for the name of a company (or individual) that will digitize
images for me in Atari ST NEOchrome or DEGAS format. (Some idea of their
cost would be appreciated.)

My second request is: does anyone out there have a copy of the NEOchrome
or DEGAS file format?

Please e-mail your responses to me...if anyone else would like the same
information: just ask.

Thanks in advance.

There is an outfit in San Francisco that can take a disk with NEO files
and make color separations or black and white stats. For color work they
charge about $125, for b/w much less. The quality is excellent -- look at
the screen shots in Atari's recent ads.

The company is called Imageset, and they're in the SF phone book.

By the way, they can do the work in ANY resolution using NEO files created
by the SNAPSHOT utility which is floating around (it's on the Atari BBS
at 408-745-5308 if you can't find it elsewhere).
