Has anyone sucessfully implimented the Tektronix Liquid Crystal Shutter system as a stereo viewing device on a 60Hz raster display? We were testing one on a Silicon Graphics IRIS 2400 Turbo using the Tektronix 30/60Hz driver card (that means the left-right fields alternate at 60Hz, with a complete stereo view presented at 30Hz) when our unit was accidentally broken. Our preempted tests were showing that an annoying amount of the left image was leaking through to the right eye. Our equipment budget is strained at the moment, so I was wondering if anyone else has had any success with this device before we invest in another panel. I have had reports of success with vector displays (a different driver circuit is used for these), but the operation of the panel is fundamentally different with a raster display.
