Kim Alan Scott requested information regarding university-level programs in computer graphics (especially architecture). ACM SIGGRAPH maintains a "Computer Graphics Education Directory" with information on such program. The most recent version was published in "Computer Graphics" (the ACM SIGGRAPH newsletter), volume 19, number 4 in October 1985. An earlier version appeared the year before (volume 18). The directory is an attempt to list as many programs in computer graphics as possible. Programs are categorized according to area (computer science, art and design, etc.). The directory is updated periodically and will appear in future newsletters. (I don't know if a new one is coming out this October. Wait two months and see; the mailing date for 20:4 is November 15). The directory was compiled by Steve Cunningham, the chair of SIGGRAPH's Education Committee.
