[net.graphics] graphics packages

Does anyone have any information concerning outstanding graphics
packages for IBM PC ATs?  In particular, I am looking for a very
sophisticated (as opposed to typical "business") graphics package
that performs full bit image graphs, with logarithmic figures and
so forth.
