I am looking for information on the language "S" that has been on AT&T's commercial software price list in the past. Does anyone have comments on its availability, experience using it, etc.? I am interested in its use for graphics applications. "S" seems to have been dropped from the AT&T price list and 800-UNIX is not of much help. Any Help Is Appreciated. Becker and John M. Chambers, Copywrite 1984. It's part of the Wadsworth Statistics/Probability Series from Wadsworth Advanced Book Program in Belmont, CA. The address for information on obtaining S is: AT&T Technologies Software Sales P.O. Box 25000 Greensboro, North Carolina 27420 Unfortunately, the phone number given is 1-800-828-UNIX, which probably doesn't help you. I use S quite a bit. The graphics is easy to implement quickly. I use a variety of plotters, screens, printers, etc..., all of which are easily handled by the S drivers. Hope this helps. -- Russell P.
