POSITION DESCRIPTION - Software Engineer / Project Manager
Looking for a person who can handle a project from start to finish
and then grow to manage other programmers. The qualified candadate
will be able to design flexible software standards that will guide
future development of Image Processing / Digital Signal Processing
software. This software must be applicable accross a wide variety of
processing hardware.
This position requires a person who can handle system responsibility
as well as machine dependent low level coding. The ideal candadate
will be able to deal with Image Processing / Digital Signal
Processing hardware and software as well as system integration
issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
* A strong backround in "C" and unix. (2 - 4 years experience)
* Experience with image processing, recognition and digital signal processing
* IBM PC / MS-DOS hardware / software experience
* Experience with integrating board level products
* Experience with Unix and other operating system device drivers
* Experience of working with software that drives hardware
PLUSES:
* VAX VMS experience (both as user and device drivers)
* Experience with Unix Make, shell scripts and awk
* Implementation of Graphic software and Graphic Standards (GKS, CGI)
