I have received a number of inquiries about the proceedings issue of "Computer Graphics" the ACM SIGGRAPH newsletter. Yes, the proceedings are being sent to all members (this is true every year). Yes, they have been mailed by Waverly Press (according to ACM Headquarters all copies should have been in the mail by early October). Comments: The proceedings issue takes much longer to mail than a normal issue because each copy is stuffed into a box (to protect it during mailing), which is a manual operation. I am making additional inquiries to verify that the issue has been mailed as claimed because I am suspicious that no one I have contacted seems to have received a copy. Warning: Please DO NOT post a message to this news group (or any other news group) saying "I got mine" or "I didn't get mine either". There are 12,000 members of ACM SIGGRAPH. In fact, please don't send e-mail to me directly about this. I will be following up on it anyway. Since no one at Waterloo has received the proceedings issue yet, I have a good way of determining if they are in fact being received. Thanks for bearing with us. Sorry for the delay.
