I have 2 vt100's which were modified by including the printer port option. They are being traded in for vt102's at the end of April because they may now be classified as junk. I will skip some of the other problems and go on to... ...you cannot disable the XON/XOFF flow control in SETUP B. You move your cursor over the bit, hit the toggle key and presto, no change. Not only that BUT: if you hit a control S or a control Q, the terminal thinks "ha - I am not stupid" and will NOT send that character. If you had hit Control S, it will sent it when the buffer fills up and will not send Control Q until you hit that key. A lot of you will think that I do not know anything about terminals but let me assure you that this is how these terminals behave. We have other VT100's without the printer port which do perform correctly. Derek Andrew U of Saskatchewan
