[net.emacs] Segmentation faults in Gosling emacs

We recently switched to 4.2Bsd, and I have found that, for some unknown
reason, all our old .mo files do very strange things, including causing
emacs to segmentation fault. Solution is very simple - remove and
regenerate .mo files. Could this be your problem? I have run up
against the top of the macro table many times, and never had a
segmentation fault from it.
