I agree with Bruce Israel's complaints about Unipress distribution of
maclib. I also had to debug the library sent to our site by Unipress.
When I called Unipress with the bug reports, the original response was
that they were understaffed and didn't have the time to debug those
packages. More recently, I've had occassion to speak with Mark Kreiger
at Unipress, and he told me that they've recently hired someone to
clean up the packages. Supposedly, bug free versions should be forth-
coming.
As far as distribution of the packages is concerned, my intuition is
that the packages are not really part of the product and distribution
of fixes to other sites is probably acceptable. However, I suggest
talking to Mark Kreiger at Unipress, if you'd like to find out for
certain.
