#N:ecn-ee:22000002:000:415 ecn-ee!davy Aug 20 20:38:00 1984 Are there any other JOVE (Jonathan's Own Version of EMACS, by Jon Payne) users out there? I've been running it here at Purdue for about 18 months now and have been very pleased. I'd be curious to communicate with other users to trade new features, modifications, etc. I've got a few that I'd be willing to give to anyone who's interested... --Dave Curry {decvax, ucbvax, ihnp4}!pur-ee!davy eevax.davy@purdue

[for all you do, this one's for you] We've been running JOVE here for quite a while, on a PDP11/44 under both 2.8BSD and 2.9BSD. I took some of the changes to JOVE from the 4.2BSD BRL distribution and retofitted them in the 2.9 version. We've been real happy with it; it sure beats vi. One feature that we added was a write-modified-files-and-exit function. Nothing real fancy. UUCP: ..!seismo!rlgvax!cvl!umd5!louie Internet: louie@umd5 Louis A.
