< nonononono please, please leave a line for me > I have been simply deluged with requests and advice for my readnews package to run under Emacs. There are more different types of readnews packages than I had ever imagined. Since I maintain the .newsrc file, and incorporate a few other features no one else seems to, it is apparent that this one needs posting to net.sources. I will fix it up so it will work with generic Emacs, since it currently expects to have several routines that are part of our local Edt emulation package. There is some software floating around that has features and/or code I would like to incorporate into my package. I have sent off mail to see if I can get permission to use it.
