I just built V2 of Unipress Emacs and it seems to be working ok, but when
I tried linking it with IBIS, the remote access package from Purdue, it
encounters some difficulties when accessing remote files. Namely, it takes
several seconds, prints "Alarm clock", and then exits. It appears that
the IPC stuff in mchan4.2.c thinks that the editor itself got an alarm
wakeup and it just exits.
Note that IBIS works just fine with #264.
Any ideas before I jump in on this?
