Since it appears that the next release of GNUmacs will be of moderate size, now is the time to think about an incremental update mechanism for distributing new versions (such as diff files, along with command or make files for recreating the new sources). I am sure that those hosts that have graciously agreed to distribute GNUmacs will appreciate the decreased load, as will those of us who stayed up until the wee hours to avoid interfering with other systems.
