Is there a termcap entry for the Symbolics Lisp Machine telnet window? Personally, I think the Lisp Machine window system should be accessible over the network a la X but as it is I would simply like to be able to use emacs when telnetted to a Unix host.

That will cause telnet to emulate a vt100. Make sure that you use the unix tset command properly to tell unix that you are a vt100. Also, reshape the telnet window so that you have the proper 25 text lines that a real vt100 would. The default telnet window emulates a dumb terminal, which does not have all the features required by emacs. -- Sidney Markowitz ARPA: sidney@mitre-bedford UUCP: ...{allegra,decvax,genrad,ihnp4,philabs,security,utzoo}!linus!sidney
