i'd like to hear from people regarding their experience with using emacs-like editors, lint for c, and xenix on the ibm pc. i know of three emacs-like editors for the pc -- unipress emacs, brief by solution systems, and epsilon by lugaru software. of these, only epsilon supports (as far as i know) concurrent processing (i.e. the ability to edit while compiling etc.), which is one of the main reasons i want emacs. any users of these or other editors out there. lets hear from you. pc-lint seems to be a fairly complete implementation of lint on the pc. another lint is pre-c. any other systems? what are your thoughts? i am interested in using xenix on pc-xt for developing programs for dos. anybody tackled this issue? what do you think of the implementation of xenix? please respond to this address, and i'll post summaries. nasser
