*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR ERECT *** No matter how much on-line documentation there is, I am having a problem getting others here at JPL to switch over to GNU Emacs. I am surmising that part of the problem is that I can't stick a manual under their noses to read. Seeming as how the man directory contains 1/2 meg. of stuff, perhaps someone out there could direct me towards a public-domain version of TeX that is compatible enough to be able to run it on the GNU manual. I have absolutely no interest in obtaining TeX for anything else, so buying it is (practically) out of the question. If for no other reason, I would still like to have a printed copy (of the manual) for myself. Thanks. P.S. We are running Sun 2-{120,170}'s under 2.0 (NFS) ; 16.60.0 GNU Emacs.
