[net.emacs] Emacs 17.43 available

rms@prep.ai.mit.edu (01/25/86)

From: rms@prep.ai.mit.edu (Richard M. Stallman)
Emacs 17.43 is now available, in /u2/emacs/dist/ and in
/u2/emacs/edist.tar-17.43. It is also available as
differences from 17.36, in /u2/emacs/diff-17.36-17.43,
but those differences are considerable (> 300k).

This fix is composed nearly entirely of bug fixes,
together with support for a few additional machines:
HP9000s200, TI Nu, and Stride.

Is it possible to obtain it via uucp? If so, what
is the phone #, password, recommended access times, etc?
The advertised support for HP9000 machines now has me
interested in bringing it up on our HP9000.

Project GNU is unable to provide copies via uucp at this time.
Hopefully, several uucp sites will volunteer again.
