This site is somewhat closer than prep to the ARPANET, and transfer rates may be a bit quicker. It will also reduce somewhat the load on the gateways going into prep. louie:~ftp/gnu/edist.tar-17.49 The files for gnu emacs have been moved from udel-huey to udel-louie. We have been told that the ARPANET response is faster on that machine. It is much more convenient to be able to copy only the files which have changed rather than having to ftp a 5+meg tar file. It would also significantly reduce the load on louie. Thanks, Greg
