[net.emacs] GNU EMACS in an Intel 80x86 Environment

	Has anyone successfully ported GNU EMACS to 
an 8086 machine with a small or medium model compiler ?
It seems that the size limitations of such a system would
make for an exorbitant amount of difficulty. Any suggestions,
comments, etc. would be most appreciated.
