[net.emacs] sun function keys

Does anyone have any routines to map sun function keys (sun-2 and
sun-3 keyboards) into useable sequences?  It seems like gnuemacs
should be general enough to allow a keymap given the appropriate input
sequence ("^[[nnnz"), but I don't really know how that stuff is used.
