[net.emacs] Intel Processors Running UniPress Emacs ?

scott@scirtp.UUCP (Scott Crenshaw) (07/23/86)

( I am told that the lowercase "i" has been trademarked
by Intel. Good going, guys !)

Has anyone ported UniPress Emacs to an 80x86 - based
machine running System V ? I am told (assured ?) that this
is feasible with a large model compiler. Has anyone actually done
this ? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Scott -- you should talk to Mike Gallaher at Unipress,
topaz!unipress!mg, about a month ago he was porting emacs to the 80286
running Microsoft Xenix.
