I have a version of GNU Emacs 17.64 that I know works on Gould's UTX32 release 1.3 and 2.0. I am fairly sure that it works on release 1.2, but I have never tried it on a "stock" 1.2 system -- we don't have any here. I would like to distribute this as widely as possible. The only problem is that a shar file of diffs runs to 14Kbytes and we're trying to cut down on our traffic through uiucdcs. Send me mail if you would like the diffs. If you are on the Arpanet, I will send them immediately. If you are on the Usenet, I may refer you to someone closer that already has them. Or I may refer people to you, so please keep the shar file around. If you have a 1.2 system, I want to hear from you -- I want such a person to bring GNU Emacs on their system before I send the diffs to the FSF folk. All of GNU Emacs will soon be available on a user-contributed software tape from the Gould User's Group. I'll post more information when I have it.
