From: sasaki@harvard.HARVARD.EDU (Marty Sasaki) I no longer work for Harvard, and my new employer isn't connected to the net, but the VMS GNU Emacs mailing list is still alive. The system manager of Harvard believes that VMS GNU Emacs and it's network distribution are good ideas, so things will remain the same for a while. However, if you want to talk to me, or you want to get VMS GNU Emacson tape don't call or send the tape to Harvard. Send them to my new place of employment. This will make the person who has my old office very happy. And speaking of tapes, I found a whole pile of tapes that should be sent out. I will try and get to them this weekend. If you have sent me a tape and haven't received it by the end of next week, send me a mail message, or call me. Development of VMS GNU Emacs has stopped. We are waiting for version 18 which will have VMS support built in. The VMS stuff is based on the work done by Joe Kelsey and is very different than the current version (based on work done by Mukesh Prasad). ---------------- Marty Sasaki uucp: harvard!sasaki Strategic Information arpa: sasaki@harvard.harvard.edu 80 Blanchard Road bitnet: sasaki@harvunxh Burlington, MA 01803 phone: 617-273-5500
