While we're on the subject of termcaps, I noticed that many termcaps are missing entries for bs, cr, and nl, which default to the right things, but GNU Emacs behaves differently by not assuming the default for nl, I believe. I was getting explicit cursor addressing instead of a simple newline. Also, the sun termcap will need to be fixed up to include IC DC AL and DL which improves performance appreciably.
