I am running Microport's Unix (not Xenix) System V/AT Rel 2
on my PC/AT Compatible with the following memory and storage
capacity:
- 72 MB Hard Disk
- 4 MB RAM
My question is: did anyone get GNU Emacs to work under System V/AT?
Obviously memory/storage capacity is not a problem on my system, and
I was able to compile GNU successfully but got a memory fault when
dumping xemacs. System V/AT's C Compiler has two compile models:
small, and large. The large model allows each array to have a maximum
size of 64Kbytes. I suspect that the problems may come from the
GNU's own malloc(), but replacing it with C library's malloc() still
generate memory fault. Any hints or suggestions?
Many thanks,
Joe Chen
