I am trying to find a version of GNU emacs that runs on IBM RTs under BSD 4.2. I noticed that version 18.26 of GNU emacs has an m-ibmrt.h file, but it seemed untested. Trying to build-install with m-ibmrt.h caused several compile errors. The compile errors didn't seem major, and I attempted fixes, but the resulting temacs file dumps core when it tries to load the standard lisp packages. Has anyone successfully ported GNU emacs to an IBM RT? Thanks for any help, Randy Day. I'm the one who's "supposed" to be doing this, but I haven't had a chance to look at it (maybe sometime this week). The compile errors are caused by the broken rt compiler; simplifying the expressions fixes the problem. The dumping core bit sounds bad. That might take some time to track down. -- Robert^Z
