I am working on getting GNU v18.26 working on a Sun3. I can get temacs created, etc, and I can even get temacs to dump out xemacs, but for the life of me, I can't get xemacs to do anything other than sit there and chew up CPU time. It never even gets to the part where it changes the sttys, etc. The problem is made worse by the fact that I can't use adb OR dbx OR gdb on the xemacs created. For some reason, they all core dump or just die with an "out of memory" error. On the other hand, I cna run "temacs -l loadup", and get a running GNUemacs for all practical purposes. Am I doing something terribly wrong, or is there a problem with 18.26 or what? Oh - I am running on a Sun3 running version 3.0 of the O.S. I would really appreciate it if somebody out there in the know could tell me what the heck is going on, because this error is perplexing - I can't even use adb to debug!!!
