[ZARCONE] The comment was supposed to be reflective of how "ancient" history in music is unknown to many new listeners, and how now WE are our own parents saying "You've never heard of Rudy Vallee?" to us m+n years ago. If you interpreted that as "EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT, STUPID!", I'd say that's your problem. Why didn't you mention the other articles that claimed that the questioner must have been from another planet? I've been nailed a lot worse than this on other news groups. The reply was directed at everyone that had made rude comments to the questioner. Your posting was readily available at the time I felt I should comment. Are you suggesting I should have inserted the same reply in every article that had a subject line that read "Lou Reed's past employment"?
