[net.decus] computing newsletter survey

shwa@ur-tut.UUCP (Sharon Ward) (01/22/86)

At the University of Rochester, we are getting a Computing Center
newsletter together after several years of not having one. So we are
soliciting comments from the USENET community. We want to learn what
other schools are doing and what successes they have had. We are
interested in hearing from both college students & computing center types.

l - Does your school computing center publish a newsletter? Is it one
newsletter or several different ones, say for micro versus mainframe
users?

2 - How often is it (are they) published?

3 - What types of articles are most popular?

4 - Do you have a solution to the problem of getting authors who have
promised articles to get them in?

5 - What format do you use? Size? Printed or photocopied? Typeset? ...

Please respond via mail unless you feel your comments are of general
interest, in which case follow-ups go to net.college.
