KED and K52 have been included in the RT-11 distribution kit since the
first Version 4.0 release, about 1980.

For anyone that had Forms-11/RT, KED has been available even longer.

RT-11 V5.0 and later includes an editor called KEX, which is KED that
utilizes extended memory for buffers and overlays and is very fast.
