It appears to be true that all us Canucks are boring, eh? Here we have a network linking Newfies, Queensmen (you know what they say about Queensmen and sheep), Saskatchewan-ers (not even good enough for a nickname?), Canada's answer to Arab oil sheiks (in fact, they are ripping us of more than even they originally planned these days), and the soaking wet types from the canadian rain forests of British Columbia. And let us not forget we pure-bred, wholesome, good, wonderful, etc. Ontario types (grammar not withstanding). Even with all these diverse types (Ukranians, Acadians, the great melting pots of U. of T. and U.B.C., etc.) can.net is virtually empty of discussions. Topics: Canadian tax reform: Peter Pocklington's plan The Air Farce plan to have Gretzky pay off the national debt with one weeks salary Trudeaus socialism The lack of coherent plan associated with Joe Who Canadian politics: The next PC party leader The next Liberal party leader The cutest ex-parliamentarian (Iona Campagnola) The earliest date the NDP can hope to win The Rhino party Canadian Humour: (Is there any?) etc. etc. etc. etc. --- Stephen Perelgut --- P.S. As John Deifenbaker once said: "In Pierre Trudeau, Canada has finally produced a political leader worthy of assasination" P.P.S. Please excuse typos, this is just a break in a project at 01:00 EST (00:30 in Newfoundland)
