The EAN/CDNnet project provides gateways into UUCP, CSNet and ARPAnet, and a MAILNET gateway is in the works. CDNnet messages, encoded in CCITT protocols, are translated into the format used by the external domain and passed to the mailer for that domain. We also gateway a number of the ARPAnet mailing lists into CDNnet. Rick Sample, DSRG, University of British Columbia
