Once again, we are close to another DECUS Canada symposium, and I am busy preparing the symposium tape for VMS. So far, aside from the stuff we submit from York and what I picked up from the net, I have NO submissions. (that is zilch, zero, null, zip !!) Thus: Here is a plea for submissions. If you are in my situation, (I.e. having to administer both a VMS and a UN*X system), you are likely to have some software under VMS suitable for submission. If you are a UN*X-only site, pass this notice to a VMS admin you know. Note that being a UN*X-only site does not mean you do not have anything that is of interest to VMS community: anything that is portable is of possible interest. Otherwise, (i.e. you do not even wish to know VMS system admins, and everything you have is strictly UN*X-only) ignore this notice completely. Usually, this tape is made available during the symposium, and afterwards, it is sent to all the LUGS in Canada. The deadline for submissions for this year's tape is FEB. 1 1986. You may forward your submissions to me in various ways: - Thru USENET - Thru BITNET - Thru TAR TAPE - Thru VMS BACKUP TAPE - Thru uucp-guest account on yetti - Thru a guest account on our VMS system, using KERMIT. Any tapes you send me would be returned to you, perhaps containing something you need (such as US DECUS 85 A & B tape contents). You may contact me thru USENET, BITNET or PHONET: ([416] 667-3976).
