pajari@winston.UUCP (George Pajari) (11/20/86)
The British Columbia UNIX Users' Group will mail (at no cost to you)
a limited number of copies of the first issue of its new newsletter
to interested persons.
How to qualify:
1 - preference is for people in British Columbia, but
people (esp. system managers) in other provinces are
also welcome. (It would not hurt to include a line
or two describing why you want the newsletter and what you
are doing with UNIX.)
2 - your address must be in the following format and mailed
to ubc-vision!winston!cdl!bcuug (not the poster of this news
item).
The proper format for addresses:
# Your name
# Your title
# Your company's name
# Company address
# City, Province
# Postal Code
# (area code) telephone number
Please prefix each line with the # so that my shell script can load your
information into my database easily. It also helps if you can keep it to
seven lines although that is not essential. Company addresses are
preferred but home addresses will be accepted.
Thank you
George Pajari
President
British Columbia UNIX User's Group
P.S. - Why are we mailing out our newsletter rather than sending it
over the net? Because laser-printing looks a whole lot nicer
than 24x80 screens, that's why.
P.P.S. - If you are a member of the BCUUG, then you probably will
receive a copy anyway so you need not respond. If you do not
get a copy by Dec. 1, scream.
