I am posting this on behalf of Nigel Burnett at Convergent Technologies Canada. He still has a couple of almost-new Convergent UNIX PCs he'd like to sell off. These stand-alone systems have also been sold by AT&T as the 3B1 and 7300. I believe the systems are Motorola-based (68000 or 010, not sure), and come with complete System Vr1. They're equipped with 3Meg RAM, a 40Meg HD, floppy, and two serial ports. The model has been discontinued by both AT&T and Convergent. The remaining units are in near-perfect condition, and include all software and manuals. Asking price is $4000 Cdn or best offer(s). I have been given to understand through postings in the unix-pc newsgroups that S/50 machines from convergent are similar to, but not identical to AT&T 3B1's.
