Western Dynex is currently offering each customer two WD505 cartridge disk drives priced at only $495US each. This is normally their OEM price for 121 units/month. The disk features five Megabytes (formatted), takes a $50US ANSI disk cartridge, and has an internal microprocessor that re-calibrates the drive for each new cartridge inserted (takes 90 seconds). The interface is ST506. The unit fits in the space of a 5 1/4 mini-floppy drive.
