Mark, the proposed groups ont.micro, ont.micro.mac, and ont.singles are for
information specific to ONTARIO.  Why burden the net with text that is only
of interest to a local geographic area??  Only if people would use these groups
where it makes sense to.

Nuke the groups. The idea is to post to net.micro or net.singles with a DISTRIBUTION of ``ont''. The ont groups were a good idea when there was no distribution feature, but those days are long past... Laura Creighton utzoo!laura

I subscribe to ont.micro but not to net.micro. I just don't have time to read all the articles in net.micro, but I am interested in what people locally have to say about micros. The fact that articles are infrequent in ont.micro means I stay subscribed to it. As I understand "Distribution", it will require me to read net.micro in order to get the same information I get in ont.micro. (If I am wrong correct me.) I vote for keeping ont.micro.
