The 5th Annual FORTH National Convention will be held on October 14 and 15 (Friday and Saturday) at the Hyatt Palo Alto, 4290 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306. The time is Noon to 5 pm on Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday. Registration fee is $5.00 for pre-registration, probably the same for at the door. The program will include sessions on Relation Data Bases, Forth- based Instruments, Expert Systems, Computer-Aided Design (this one includes a demo of Charles Moore's PC design system, which I have heard is really neat - Charles Moore is the inventor of FORTH), aids for the handicapped, Automatic Programming Systems, Forth Machines, Robotics, Intelligent Peripherals, Teleconferencing, Consultants Workshop, and Standards. There will also be exhibits from all sorts of Forth vendors.
