If you really want to flame about the ABC coverage of the LA games: ABC Sports 1330 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10019 (212) 887-7777 My most recent gripes: Sylvie Bernier wins the women's 3m springboard diving competition. ABC shows the American silver and bronze medalists. In the women's volleyball, the announcer has not taken the time to learn how to pronounce the Chinese names, but as if that is not enough, he has not taken the time to learn the names of the US players: At least twice he mistook two of the three black players (they do not look alike) which says he knows nothing about the team and more, he can't follow the rotation of six people, indicating little understanding of the game. Other than that, his play by play was horrid. Howard Nosell shows several replays of a "devastating" knockout by an American boxer. Only if the American was on the receiving end would he have noticed the blatant head-butt that helped set it up. I have to say I have found the expert commentator for diving pretty good. Other than that, I turn of the sound.
