[net.rec] K1 Paddling

hhs@hou2h.UUCP (H.SHARP) (07/02/85)

I just moved up to Holmdel from the Washington, DC area and I
am looking for some good water to play in. Where is the nearest
play water? I am sure with all this rain that some rivers must
be up somewhere. If anyone needs an extra paddler for a trip let
me know. My car has racks so I can help with shuttle runs.
I will be pleased to hear from you.

I don't know the details, but I do know there is water out there.
Try contacting the nearest Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) office
to get a copy of their whitewater canoeist/kayaker roster. Good
luck, have fun--do an extra wheelie for me.
