We're interested in getting a color raster plotter to do CIF plots. Is anybody using something cheaper than the widebed color Versatec for this? So far, a raster generator and inkjet plotter from Tektronix look good, but I'd like to avoid doing the software development.

The color is great on it, and I am real impressed with it as a device. I don't know whether we will convert cifplot, but tell me if you get the device, and/or do any VLSI work for it.
