The "pure" version of is_all sent to the Digest on Fri Oct. 14 by
Vivek Sarkar has some serious problems, the first being that it
contains a syntax error (which is not trivial to fix).

I suggest that people test their code before broadcasting it, in
consideration of other people's time.  Perhaps there are a few
wizards who can grant themselves exemption from this practice,
but we "rank and file" should observe this discipline.
