I'm about to re-post Randy Harr's list of Prolog systems to this group. (Maybe tomorrow.) There've been additions and a few corrections since last time. Because some of the entries are over a year old, I suspect that much of the list is out of date. Here's your invitation to speak up and set the rest of us straight about your favorite Prolog. For any ARPANET readers who see this, there are no prohibi- tions against mentioning commercial products on USENET. If you know of a non-academic Prolog, please let us hear about it. In particular, I've heard rumors of compilers for CPro- log... And, in good USENET tradition, I'd like to propose a survey: Who's using Prolog, and which Prolog are you using? Please send me answers to the following questions: (1) Who are you? (site name, reason for existing, etc.) (2) Which Prolog(s) do you use? (3) What do you use it for? (4) Do you have any comments on your Prolog? I'll summarize the answers and submit the results to the net in about a month. (Answers to (4) will be anonymous-- as will any others from people who don't want to be named.) ____________________________________ Bruce Smith, UNC-Chapel Hill decvax!duke!unc!bts (USENET) bts.unc@CSnet-Relay (other NETworks)
