[net.lang.prolog] What is the best PROLOG for an IBM-PC/AT?

bet@ecsvax.UUCP (Bennett E. Todd III) (09/19/85)

What is the PROLOG interpreter of choice to run on an IBM-PC/AT? A
decent compiler would also be of interest. We are running both DOS 3.1
and XENIX-286, so we would be interested in implementations for either.

We are hoping to develop a natural language parser for real use, so
run-time performance is crucial. This probably rules out public domain
implementations, but I'd love to be proven wrong on that one!

Replies via mail are probably in order; if I get any info of interest I
will summerize to the net.
