halle1@houxz.UUCP (J.HALLE) (04/23/84)

There were 21 hands played in the rubber. For simplicity I will assume they
were all in clubs except where noted. North and East will indicate the side
that declared.

Hand 1. 1C doubled by N, making 7, for 40 below, 600 for overtricks, 50 for
the insult, and 150 for honors.
Hand 2. Same as hand 1.
Hands 3-6. 1C by East making. North collects 150 honors each hand, east
	gets 20 below each hand.
Hand 7. 7NT redoubled by N making. 880 below, 50 above, 1000 bonus above.

Hands 8-13. Same as 1-6, but overtricks now worth 1200 per hand.
Hand 14. 1C by East making.

Hands 15-20. Same as 8-13.
Hand 21. 1NT redoubled by North, making 7. 160 below, 2400 + 50 above.
Bonus for winning rubber of 500.

TOTALS:

Tricks: 960 game 1, 80 game 2, 240 game 3. East got 260 total for these, also.
Overtricks: 600 twice, 1200 4 times, 2400 once.
Honors: 150 21 times.
Insult: 50 8 times.
Bonuses: 1000 and 500.

1280 + 8400 + 3150 + 400 + 1500 = 14,730 points total for North.

East also had 260 points, for a difference of 14,470, the largest difference
possible.
