Analyze for all possible leads by west.
***********************************************************************
To avoid going into too much detail, I'll summarize.
spade:Take the finesse. Force out the AC. Win the return. West is squeezed
and you either take three hearts or four spades for six tricks. This goes
along with your six minor suit tricks. KS lead works the same.
heart:This sets the contract. You are limited to 2 spades, 3 hearts,
3 diamonds, and 3 clubs.
diamond:Win. Attempt to force out the AC early so that the KC is an entry.
If so, win return and continue as in spade line. West cannot stop both
hearts and spades. If west holds up three rounds on clubs, then play off all
your diamonds putting east on lead with 6 cards to play.
a)west pitches AC. I now have a simple major suit squeeze for the 12th
trick whatever is returned by east.
b)west doesnt keep three hearts. I now have a simple club/spade squeeze
for the 12th trick whatever is returned by east.
c)west doesnt keep three spades. I now pick up four spade tricks.
West obviously must keep 7 cards. Unfortunately everyone else at the table
is down to six.
low club: Win on dummy. Cash AD(for simplicity). Convert to diamond line above
(or win in hand, finesse spades, convert to spade line above)
AC:West can exit in whichever way he desires. Either I get three hearts and
three spades(with a heart exit) or 4 spades and two hearts on a squeeze.
The KC is used as an entry to finesse spades. Cash your minor suit winners.
Enter dummy with a heart. If the QH doesnt fall, West has only Kx of spades
left and the last three spades(AQx) on dummy win.
